Headaches may be terribly debilitating, and it is something most of us have had the misfortune to endure. But of course there are headaches, and then there are migraine headaches that happen to be different. I experienced a period when much younger, and I used to have migraines approximately once a month. They lasted a couple of years and then abruptly stopped, and I am happy for that. It is somewhat intriguing that headaches, and specifically migraines, are not entirely understood by the medical community. There are quite a few reasons for this not the least of which is individuals can respond to and feel pain in various ways. This is a hugely intricate area, and this indicates doctors have a long way to go before a clear picture emerges.
