About Health Beyond 40

Welcome everyone!

As you know and have felt over the past years our bodies change with the biggest changes in my case anyway is the recovery time that I need now compared to even 10 years ago. Now don’t get me wrong here it is not always a bad thing it just has to be addressed a bit different.

A little bit about me I am an active person and always have been. I teach martial arts, Tae Kwon Do specifically as well as combat self defense. The self defense is not nearly as tough on my system as the Tae Kwon Do mostly because of the age differences in the classes.

The Tae Kwon Do sparring can get crazy and as you know the younger crowd always has to try and beat the adult instructor. Thank goodness that wisdom in movement overwhelms energetic youth…grin

With that said my body seems to be in a constant state of recuperation in one form or the other….or I should say one part of my body or the other.

That was the premise of creating this site to find great information for myself, my students and anyone else looking for answers to health related issues in relation to the effects of age, staying fit and health.

There are some real good information out there to be sure. I have placed my favorite articles and resourses here as a convienent place for all to use.
